Course Description

SPT 101B Accident/Incident Prevention Program Requirements and Preparation

This session will allow students to gain knowledge and an understanding in the Federal and State legal requirements for an accident prevention program, as well as the elements of an effective total safety program.

• Students will also be discussing the titles and definitions under the “safety” umbrella as well as the elements of a successful safety program.
• Students will learn the role and responsibilities of a safety officer.
• The Accident/Incident Prevention Program Requirements and Preparation will provide information on what kind of training is required under regulations.
