Course Description

Construction Safety Specialist Certification

Evergreen Safety Council developed this 6-day training program to benefit construction professionals at both the entry level and those with several years experience to educate them regarding jobsite hazards and how to mitigate them. This course will be comprehensive, applying OSHA/L&I policies, standards and procedures to construction safety and health. The CSS will also increase the participant’s awareness of the safety and health hazards that may be encountered at a natural or human-made disaster site. The importance of respiratory and other personal protective equipment and proper decontamination procedures that may be used to reduce the hazards will be emphasized.

Upon successful completion of this course the participant will receive: Evergreen’s Construction Safety Specialist certification OSHA 30 hour Construction card OSHA (16 hour) 7600 Disaster Site Worker card
