SPT 102B Job Instruction Training
This session will explain the Federal OSHA Guidelines and the Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act (WISHA) requirements for Job Instruction Training.
- This program presents a method for creating a logical, easy-to-follow approach so information can be conveniently transferred to the employee from an instruction outline.
- The curriculum will provide a means of teaching employees how to properly perform their tasks, with an accepted four step method and utilizing the JSA.
- This session will also differentiate Job Instruction Training from Safety Training as well as list the benefits of a JIT, help the students identify when training is needed, help them identify the traits of a good instructor, and list and use the four step method of JIT.
- This course will also discuss lesson plans, educational tools, and the philosophy of education, memory retention, adult learners, handling problem students and teaching methodology.
