Course DescriptionNovice Rider Course 2 (NRC-2)The Novice Rider Course 2 is an 8-hour course that enables those who successfully complete it to receive their Washington motorcycle endorsement with no further testing at the Washington DOL. This course is also known as the (IRT) Intermediate Rider Training, by the Washington Motorcycle Safety Program and DOL. This course is designed specifically for riders who are:
Students will ride ESC bikes in this course (those returning to the sport without personal bikes will find this is a perfect class for them). Classroom instruction in street strategies and mental preparedness for safe motorcycling is combined with range exercises that cover cornering/swerving/stopping/hazard avoidance. Course fee is $150.
