Short Duration Work Zone Safety

Effective work zone traffic control is the result of strategic planning, plan development, preparation and field application. This one day safety course will satisfy WAC 296-155-305 (1) (b) Job site workers with specific traffic control responsibilities must be trained in traffic control techniques, device usage, and placement. Participants are introduced to:

• Short duration and short term work zone considerations
• Workable safety concepts and techniques
• Unique safety issues
• Resources
• Legal consequences
