Oregon OSHA also co-sponsors statewide educational conferences for workers and employers to share ideas about occupational safety and health with local experts and nationally recognized professionals.

Safe Driver Training Opportunities

Evergreen Safety Council continues to offer our EverSafe Driving classes throughout Oregon. To schedule EverSafe Driving training or for any other safe driving training needs or questions, please contact Evergreen at 800-521-0778.

Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) Oregon State

This 2 1/2-day certification course includes presentations, exercises, videos, and references to Federal and State highway construction and Traffic Control standards. Participants receive a comprehensive reference manual and other reference materials to assist with on-the-job practical issues and performance standards. Once successfully completed, certification is valid for 3 years.

Secured Load Training

Evergreen Safety Council's Secured Load Online Training course is intended for the needs of the general public (vs construction). It includes a video, it is interruptible, and upon completion of the course individuals will receive a certificate of completion to print out. The program is approximately 1 hour in length.

Evergreen serves the businesses, governmental entities, and communities of the States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska through the dissemination of safety and health information and the provision of safety and health training. We work very closely with Region X of the Federal Department of Labor/OSHA, whose service area is identical to that of the Safety Council. We also have a strong relationship with the Washington State staff (WISHA) as well as a growing relationship with the OR-OSHA and AK-OSHA staffs.

Funding for Evergreen comes from membership and fees for service. Membership is open and encouraged for all businesses seeking to improve safety and health for workers, their families, and the community.
