What Companies Say About ESC
Jim Smith, Safety Officer, City of Renton"Over the past 11 years I have utilized the resources of Evergreen Safety Council numerous times. They are generally the 1st place to where I turn when I need updated safety information or specialized training. ESC has never failed to provide me with the answers or the help I need. I always recommend ESC to others when they look to me for sources of information. The staff at Evergreen Safety Council is a living, breathing, and ever-evolving safety encyclopedia."
Fred Nelson, Safety & Training Manager, Pierce Transit"Pierce Transit has been a member of the Evergreen Safety Council for over seventeen years. There are many benefits from this membership, but none more important than the credibility and knowledge my Safety & Training Division has received having taken the Safety & Health Specialist courses. The Safety & Health Solutions newsletters also have been very valuable. The Evergreen Safety Council has been and continues to be an outstanding resource and one that we hope to partner with for quite a while."
EverSafe Driving ProgramFrank J. Motley, President, Motley-Motley, Inc., Pullman, WA"The EverSafe Driving Program that was presented to our office was a thorough success." We highly recommend your program to anyone considering educating employees to become better and safer drivers." John Zakariassen, CIS Risk Management Consultant, City County Insurance Services (CIS) (see below comments)"The EverSafe Driver Program is one of the best training workshops I"ve had the pleasure of teaching in my 30 years of loss control experience." The program is comprehensive, utilizes the talents of expert professionals around the country, and is user and instructor friendly in its design." In short, the program promotes the highest standards of excellence in safe driving." I wish to convey my deep appreciation to the Evergreen Safety Council for producing this tremendously successful training; it has greatly benefited our employees, assisting them in becoming safer drivers, reducing claims and accidents, and successfully promoting safety on Oregon"s roads." I look forward to renewing my instructor card in 2006 and continuing to reach others with this vital program." Fred Nelson, Safety & Training Manager, Pierce Transit"After researching the benefits of teaching the EverSafe defensive driving, we quit teaching the National Safety Councils (NSC) defensive driving program. We require all employees to attend defensive driving and the EverSafe course has proven to provide an outstanding benefit for the agency. Not only are the principles the same as the NSC course, but it is flexible and not quite as expensive as the NSC course." All eight of my instructors are certified in this area as well. The Evergreen Safety Council has been and continues to be an outstanding resource and one that we hope to partner with for quite a while." Motorcycle TrainingKen Levy, Motorcycle RiderI attended your beginning level class (in February 2008) at Lake Washington Tech. I just wanted to let you know I was real impressed. Martin Schwartz was our teacher and he did an excellent job. His skills in the classroom were I believe "above the norm". Just about every informative statement or video segment we watched, he would look at each person and expect their perspective or make them repeat what he just explained. This really seemed to keep everyone's attention and retention. I own a company of about fifty employees and I know how hard it is to find ones that have a lot of passion for what they do. From what I saw, it is clear that he does. The bikes were just fine and the location was perfect. I would strongly recommend your program to others and look forward in a year or two taking a more advanced class. Thank you for a great time! Safety & Health Specialist Certification
Edward Whitney, Labor & Industries, Tacoma, WA"The majority of the training for safety inspectors, offered by the Department of Labor & Industries, is internal. This is good training, but when opportunities are offered by a prestigious organization many inspectors jump for a chance to take the training. This is what the Evergreen Safety Council offered and carried out in a professional manner. I had the opportunity to take the class in Portland, OR; the facilities were wonderful, the food was outstanding, but most notable were the instructors and the other participants who attended the class."
All eight of my instructors went through the program to enhance their overall skills which not only benefits our division but the agency as a whole." Two of my instructors have gone on to complete the Health & Safety Technician course work, which as you know, provides an even greater degree of safety training. The Evergreen Safety Council has been and continues to be an outstanding resource and one that we hope to partner with for quite a while. Health & Safety Technician CertificationVic White, EHS Manager, Skanska USA Building Inc"Four of our EHS Managers from Skanska USA Building Inc have completed the Health & Safety Technician program offered by the Evergreen Safety Council and all were every satisfied with the course. The instructors are very knowledgeable & the classes challenging. I would recommend this course to anyone who would like to grow in the arena of safety." Dan Fehrenbacher, Northwest Safety Consulting Services LLC"The Evergreen Safety Council"s Health & Safety Technician Certification is a great learning experience and value for any individual or company." I found the instructors to be knowledgeable with valuable hands-on experience in the industry." The curriculum offers participants an opportunity to interact, not only with the instructors but also with other safety professionals to discuss real world experience." I believe that every safety professional and their companies will benefit greatly from the insight and training offered in the HST certification." Traffic Control Supervisor / Flagger Instructor CourseDaniel Amick, K & D Services"K & D Services of Oregon, Inc. has sent several employees through the Evergreen Safety Council courses over the last few years. I personally have taken the Oregon Traffic Control Supervisor course and the Washington Traffic Control Supervisor course. I have also taken the CPR/First Aid Instructor"s course to enable me to instruct and certify our flaggers in CPR and First Aid. I will also be taking the ESC Flagger Instructor course. I have found the instructors to be very informative, knowledgeable, and well prepared about the subjects they teach and the visual materials used are stimulating and appropriate to the subject." Sherri Frank, Manager, Office of Employee Safety, Oregon Department of Transportation"I have worked with Evergreen Safety Council since 1998. I have enjoyed working with Evergreen during this time. The program was very well designed and continues to be delivered in a highly successful manner. The staff is very helpful and responsive to the Department and contractors who are interested in the TCS Program. I have also been pleased with the quality of the training delivery, access to training evaluations, and database of those trained. I would recommend Evergreen for training development and delivery to any agency." Forklift Instructor & Operator TrainingNorth West Handling Systems, Inc."Bottom Line Loss Control (BLLC is a partner with ESC) continues to offer only 'complete' training courses. If you"re in need of operator training or any other safety related products, you would be hard pressed to find another company like them." Costco Wholesale"Costco Wholesale has worked with Bottom Line Loss Control, Inc. (BLLC is a partner with ESC) in creating a Forklift Instructor Training Program tailored to our specific needs. The forklift "Train the Trainer" class is very informative and provides teaching tips, teaching tools, and hands-on practical applications. We have had positive feedback from our instructors; BLLC truly cares about workplace safety and strives to impart that philosophy." "Oh Boy!" Oberto"Bottom Line Loss Control's approach to training is unique. They believe that safety begins with changing operators' behaviors and their program is geared toward building individual accountability. The train-the-trainer program prepared our internal trainers for on-going program administration. During this training, our employees not only learned the technical aspects of the materials, but also learned techniques on delivering information in an adult-based learning environment." |
