Work Zone Safety Programs

Throughout the U.S. roadwork appears everywhere. As the volume of traffic increases, the need to repair, replace and add new roadways also increases. With this comes the need to educate the workers who risk their lives everyday.

A work zone is an area of a roadway or highway with construction, maintenance, or utility work activities. A work zone is typically marked by signs, channelizing devices, barriers, pavement markings, and/or work vehicles. It extends from the first warning sign or rotating/strobe lights on a vehicle to the END ROAD WORK SIGN or the last temporary traffic control device
